Facebook for Android Adds Inbox Support

Check out the latest version 1.2 of Facebook for Android, which has just added Inbox support. You’ll find the new addition directly on the Facebook main page. Inside you’ll find your messages from friends/events, updates from groups you’ve joined, and your history of sent messages. You can easily delete messages in bulk from this page with the convenient check-box feature like you’d find in Gmail.

Scrolling through multiple messages and sending replies is made very simple with this update, so props to Facebook for continuing to work on their Android app.

If you’re looking for the ability to upload pictures directly from within the app, this feature has been moved to the News Feed page. You’ll notice the camera icon in the top left-hand corner.
