The mission is to destroy the enemy tanks before they have the chance to destroy you. In order to accomplish this, you have an entire arsenal of various weapon types. From missiles, to grenades, to napalm bombs, you’ve got it all. Additionally, you can obtain additional weapons from paratroopers by driving to them when they land.
A great part of this game is how much the terrain and wind play into how and what type of weapons you want to use. Also, you have the option of moving your tank (with limited fuel), so as to disrupt your opponent in case they have locked in on your location.
In order to aim, you can either use the touch screen, the trackball, or the d-pad. Calculate the angle and power (and keep in mind the terrain and wind) and fire away!
If you run into trouble or aren’t sure what something is, refer to the extensive help menu and tutorial that is provided. The developer really has done a great job in clearly explaining exactly what every weapon, symbol, power-up, etc. does.
Additionally, the full version offers 25 weapons, 6 terrains, 3 computer AI settings, and multiple wind conditions. Even better, it now offers online play so you can now compete against other Android users!
Verdict:
Armored Strike is exceptionally well done with solid graphics and great gameplay. The Lite version brings you limited options, but is enough to see if you’d like to purchase the full game. You’ll be hooked in no time!

In this seemingly simple Android game, you take on the role of Air Traffic Controller in quite the busy air space. With this title it is your job to direct airplanes and helicopters to their respective runways while avoiding catastrophic collisions.
You’ll quickly find out that planes have specific runways which are colored coordinated. When you have drawn the path for the aircraft, it will turn white indicating that its path is confirmed. However, if you want to change the path after the fact you still have that option. When a new aircraft is going to enter the screen, you’ll see a red exclamation point warning you. It’s important to keep an eye on these because they’ll often intersect flight paths you have already designated. The fast-forward button in the bottom left will speed up the game if it’s a little slow at first. Additionally, you’ll find multiple levels to choose from as well as a high scores scoreboard (across all Android users).

You can easily login using your Facebook or Twitter account, or if you’d like just register for a new account. This way you can save all of your high-scores and also brag to all your friends with the social media connection.
